Limitless Survivor Semi-Auto Guide
Patch 1.0.06 automation — skill learning, upgrades, and stat picks without full Auto-play.
Patch 1.0.06 (July 30, 2026) added Semi-Auto to Limitless Survivor — a middle ground between manual runs and full Auto-play. After you clear Hard Floor 5, Semi-Auto unlocks and can automatically learn new skills, upgrade existing skills, and select stat bonuses during level-up prompts. It does not replace movement or full unattended farming; think of it as automating build decisions while you still steer the character.
This guide explains unlock requirements, controls, how Semi-Auto differs from Auto-Play Guide AFK farming, and when to enable it during Hard and Extra Floors pushes.
How to unlock Semi-Auto
Tam Lab’s 1.0.06 patch notes state Semi-Auto unlocks after clearing Hard Floor 5. You must progress through Normal bands and enter Hard difficulty first — see Hard and Extra Floors for when Hard is worth attempting.
Until Hard Floor 5 is cleared:
- Semi-Auto toggle does nothing or stays hidden in menus
- Manual skill picks and stat choices remain the default
- Auto-Play Guide still handles cleared-floor AFK on Normal bands
After unlock, verify the feature in controls settings or the in-run toggle before relying on it during a prestige re-climb.
Controls and toggle
Keyboard: press T to toggle Semi-Auto on or off mid-run.
Controller: press Left Trigger (LT) to toggle.
Patch 1.0.07 fixed incorrect Semi-Auto tutorial text in the controls tutorial — if instructions looked wrong on 1.0.06, update Steam and re-read the tutorial (Patch 1.0.07 Menu Navigation).
Semi-Auto state persists within a run until you toggle off or exit. There is no substitute for checking your five-skill bar after dense level-up chains — automation picks quickly, not always optimally for your Best Builds plan.
What Semi-Auto automates
When enabled, Semi-Auto handles build menu decisions:
- Learn new skills when level-up offers appear — fills toward your five-skill cap without manual clicks
- Upgrade existing skills when upgrades are offered
- Select stat bonuses from level-up reward pools
It does not automatically:
- Move your character (you still dodge manually unless full Auto-play is also active — confirm in-game behavior on your build version)
- Choose Prestige timing or spend Yellow Crystals
- Appraise or skip Artifact menus — see Artifacts and Prestige QoL Update
- Replace floor selection or AFK session planning
Use Semi-Auto when level-up spam slows Hard/Extra pushes; disable it when you need precise Skill Tier List picks for a boss check.
Semi-Auto vs Auto-play
| Feature | Semi-Auto (1.0.06+) | Auto-play |
|---|---|---|
| Unlock | Hard Floor 5 clear | Cleared floors (earlier on Normal) |
| Skill/stat picks | Automated | Automated during AFK |
| Movement/combat | Still manual-focused | Automated pathing and attacks |
| Best use | Hard/Extra active pushes | Normal farm AFK |
| Toggle | T / LT | Separate auto-play control |
Many players enable Semi-Auto during active Hard farming while keeping Auto-play off, then switch to Auto-play on proven Normal floors for overnight crystals — Yellow Crystals and How to Farm Artifacts.
Build and progression tips
Before enabling on a new Hard floor:
- Confirm manual clears once — same advice as Auto-play in Auto-Play Guide
- Invest pickup range if level-ups drop loot off-screen — Stat Upgrade Priority
- Review Affix Priority so automated stat picks still align with your damage plan
After Prestige: Semi-Auto accelerates re-climbs through low floors where level-ups fire constantly. Pair with 1.0.03 bulk stat upgrade (Ctrl / RB) between runs — Bulk Stat Upgrade.
Attack Count cap: Automated picks may favor attack-count bonuses; remember overflow converts to Attack Power multiplier at launch — Attack Count Cap.
